 Concept overview

The primary idea is to create an eclectic visual for having a "green thumb" with simple plant motifs and unconventional planters.

 Rationale

This project was focused on developing patterns to be printed on textiles and understanding the basics of pattern applications. The idea behind the design was to create an eclectic visual translation for the expression “green thumb”. The slight texture on the plants and mugs adds dimension to balance the earthy, neutralized color palette for the collection. Each half-drop pattern offers scalability for digital printing on various textiles, which I envision these patterns on items like bandanas, aprons, and other apparel products.
